In Kathmandu, we stay at the Yak & Yeti . We will stay here one night upon arrival and one or two nights upon departure.
Hotel Yak and Yeti, is a premier five-star deluxe oasis in the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal. Modern day sophistication greets cultural heritage in the ample grounds of the 100-year-old palace and newly designed structure of the hotel. Find refuge among antique fountains, gilded temples and emerald gardens as you remain just moments away from all the shops and adventure of the Kathmandu city.
Rest in the neo-classical Lal Durbar or Red Palace, built more than a century ago by the then Prime Minister Bir Shumshere Jung Bahadur Rana. A centerpiece of the Yak and Yeti's impressive hotel, the meticulously restored, Lal Durbar now houses two historic restaurants, banquet rooms, a grand ballroom and casino. Comfortably manicured rooms, striking Himalayan views, and its premier location make the Yak and Yeti an obvious destination for business and for travel. |

In Pokhara, we stay at the Fulbari Resort & Spa . We will stay one or two nights here when we are coming or going to and from the Annapurna, Dhauligiri, Dolpo and Mustang areas.
Against the beautiful backdrops of the scenic Pokhara Valley and the Annapurna Range, The Fulbari Resort & Spa - the only "5-Star Deluxe Resort Hotel" in Nepal, outside the Kathmandu Valley, and the only address of its kind in Pokhara - occupies the gently rolling southwest corner of the Pokhara City. It is developed on 100 acres of terraced plateau of the Green Canyon above the deep Seti Gorge. A few hundred meters below is the confluence of the Seti and Fusre Rivers.
Reflecting the colorful Nepalese word fulbari, which means "fields of flowers", the Fulbari Resort & Spa is fittingly the New Millennium's most luxurious Resort & Spa in Nepal. It is the 21st century destination for world travelers and tourists in search of the best in ambience, facilities and services. It stands in the middle of manicured and landscaped gardens.
Though spread over 100 acres of land, the property boasts of only 165 rooms and suites because its emphasis is on selective exclusivity sought by the rich and famous as well as by the connoisseurs of luxurious living and graceful settings.
In short, The Fulbari Resort & Spa is a true international-standard destination. It is the most discernible address in Nepal and Pokhara for the very exclusive and self-chosen patrons. |
