Himalayan Heliski Guides is the first and only Heliski Company in Nepal, and 2006 marked its 5th year in operation.
Right now we are literally writing the history of opening up the worlds highest and most well known mountain range in the world. Those who join us get to take place in this historic moment.
You can become one of the pioneers opening the world's most famous mountain range up to skiing. Time, day, month and year and all the names of the first descent party are recorded in our record books. If interested, the 1st descent party can give the run its name.
Our main goal is to provide a heliski trip, which will bring memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.
We promote a Adventure Heliskiing where you can experience the wildness and beauty of the highest mountain range in the world, ski areas never skied before, make first descents and write history, experience big vertical and get a trip at it's best. When you wish you can top your trip with going from the world of the snow to the jungle on a safari tour, ride elephants and watch the various wildlife of Nepal.

Its just getting light and your awoken by the sound of Yak bells and the shouts and whistles of the Yak herders directing their head strong Yaks onward as they work their way down the trail. The smell of incense and the chanting of Monks & Lamas in the nearby monastery create a mystical vibration that sends you into a soothing trance that cleanses your spirit and soul. Its just about at this time that you finally wake up and realize where it is your at, your out in Nepal's Himalaya during the middle of winter for a heliski trip in the Everest & Annapurna regions of Nepal. The air is so clean and crisp that it feels like it could cut you like a knife, the villages are old and the living standards are simple and basic. The people of Nepal's Himalaya are a tough and rugged bunch, who have adapted to some of the toughest living conditions on earth, but surprisingly enough, these people are some of the happiest and most content people you will ever meet, with smiles so bright and cheerful it makes a gray day shine. For a brief moment in your life, we will take you on a journey that takes a step back in time.
Shortly after breakfast, your whisked off to a beautiful north facing bowl sitting at 5,200 meters with 2,000 vertical meters just waiting to be skied below you, the powder is dream like and there's not a single track in sight. Surrounding you are a massive group of Himalayan peaks soaring from 7,000 to 8,000 meters in height, some of which you have been reading about for years, and now here you are looking straight up at them. You look off to your right and looming above you is Everest, you make a panoramic turn and Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Pumori and or the Annapurna's, Gangapurna, Nilgiri, Manaslu and Dhauligiri are looming above you with their ever powerful and mystical presence. It is on these massive Himalayan peaks that the Sherpa's believe the gods live and once you see them, its easy to understand why, as there's simply no doubt they possess the presence and spiritual power of the gods. Sitting back and looking at all these Himalayan peaks puts you into a trance like state and for a brief moment you have forgotten what your here for, suddenly your awoken from your trance by the familiar voice of your guide saying its time to ski. He takes off and sets the line for you to follow and one by one you ski down on untracked powder that is as incredible and as magical as the surrounding peaks around you. This is what helisking with Himalayan Heliski Guides in Nepal's Himalaya is all about, it's an ski trip and adventure all wrapped into one, and a great one at that.
Until recently, the only chance to ski in Nepal's Himalaya was to spend some 45 days or more, beating it out on an expedition, getting pounded by major storms and suffering at high altitudes while lugging your skis around with you. Finally, once the smoke cleared, and if you were still strong enough after the beating, and still had it in you to get up there and pull off an ski descent, you would become one of the lucky and successful few that actually managed to get in a ski descent in Nepal's Himalaya! That was the way it was until Himalayan Heli Ski Guides received permission to Heli Ski in Nepal anyway. Now you can get up to six runs a day, with some descents being over 2,000 vertical meters. The terrain, snow and ski conditions are some of the best we have ever experienced and the scenery is not too bad either, in fact its so good that its as close to dying and going to ski heaven that your ever going to get in this lifetime. We can go on and on as to how nice it is there, but we think its best for you to come and see for yourself. One thing is for certain, this trip will change the way you look at life for the rest of time, and it sure to become one of the most memorable journeys and ski trips you will ever take in your lifetime.
So, if you're a solid skier or snowboarder and you can handle all the different snow conditions off piste skiing can throw at you comfortably, and you want to go off the beaten track of commercialized heliskiing and have a taste for adventure, then its sure you don't want to miss this one, as this is as good as it gets.
We look forward to making some historic turns with you in Nepal's Himalaya.
With high regards,
